Last night over 200 residents attended a community forum on CSG at the Camden Civic Centre in south west Sydney to hear from the most diverse group of speakers Ive seen in a long time : Nell Schofield from Lock The Gate Alliance, Michael The Castle Caton, Doctors for the Environments Helen Redmond, the National Secretary of the Australian Workers Union Scott McDine, radio broadcaster Alan Jones, The Australia Institutes Mark Ogge and local Spring Farm resident Danielle Hodges. All speakers warned locals about the impacts of CSG and unrestricted gas exports on our environment and economy. The large crowd voted to get active and stand side by side with residents in Gloucester to oppose gas companies like AGL until our health, our land and our water is protected.
