Last night was the annual Mason Fire Dept Christmas party. Each year we always have so much fun being with friends and having a night out, and last night was no exception! Great food, great friends, great night! Norm Austin did a fantastic presentation on the history of Mason Fire, there was a great silent auction, and there were recognition awards given out. Scott received a Life Saving Medal of Honor and a Life Saving bar to wear on his dress uniform. He also received a standing ovation!!! Such an honor to be on Mason Fire and so special to be recognized for his heroic and life saving actions. I wont lie, I had tears in my eyes. Im so proud of him and so in awe of the Lords goodness and blessing on Scotts life. I also couldnt help but think of Mike and Carrie Stoddard Fancher Howe and the role Mike had in Scott becoming a firefighter. It was definitly a special night.
