Last week, Bro. Kelly posed a very convicting question. "When was the last time you attempted something (so far out from your comfort zone) that if God had not intervened, you would have failed? No doubt, our committee is charged with a daunting task that will effect the lives of countless people for all eternity. To say that the task is bigger than any of us is a major understatement. God.....and God alone......can fill the pulpit of South Georgia Baptist Church. We are in awe of the simple fact that He chooses to work through ordinary folks like us to accomplish His purpose. This evening, a breath of heaven sent air brushed across our spirits. We gathered at the altar of SGBC and were encompassed by our church family. As we felt hands resting upon us and heard multiple prayers of intercession on our behalf, we were reminded wherein lies our hope. We are continuing to seek God as we seek a pastor.......and He is honoring our commitment to Him and to our church family. Thank you for your prayers. If you were close enough to touch is this evening or if you pray across the miles, God hears and answers your prayers.
