Last week, one of the highest-selling writers in America revealed his game-changing mission to a Pitt alum. In case youre wondering, MFA alum Carolyn Kellogg (Fiction, 2008), who writes about books for the Los Angeles Times, was the winner of the papers editorial award for feature blogging in 2010. Her work has been published in the Columbia Journalism Review and Black Clock; she is the former editor of LAist. She has an MFA in creative writing [from the University of Pittsburgh, were proud to say!] and is a vice president of the board of the National Book Critics Circle.
