Last week we shared Zeldas story with you, and today wed like to introduce you to Chance. Chance was one of the other two dogs that was brought to our shelter this past April with Zelda. Like his companion, he was living in terrible conditions. He was underweight, scared, and neglected. After several months here at the shelter, he slowly but surely began to get his spunk back. He put on weight, and developed a love for playing frisbee in our volunteer yards! Another favorite among our volunteers, Chance spent a lot of time taking walks, playing fetch, and soaking up all of the love and affection he should have had from the start. In early September he was adopted by his furr-ever family, and was finally given a permanent and stable home. Thanks in part to the contributions of our donors, we were able to care for Chance and give him...well...a second chance at happiness. As a non-profit organization, we are dependent on your donations to do the work we do. Without our team of volunteers and help from our community members, we simply would cease to exist. This fall, all donations made to our shelter through November 21st, 2014 will be matched up to $25,000. This is a wonderful opportunity to give to the homeless dogs and cats of Butler County, PA.
