Late Dr Husaini Mango! Its exactly 3years today that you left us. December 5th 2011 welcomed us with this ugly news and happened to be one of darkest day to us at hostel in Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. But we took consolation in the fact that you lived a meaningful life and had many positive impact on majority of students. Importantly however, late Dr Mango was regarded as a man of the masses, a astute interpreter of philosophical though, a peerless and penetrating debater of the educational issue, a formidable educational philosopher and tireless social justice advocate. It was as a result of inimitable qualities that make many students like him. For Late Dr mango, moral integrity, quality education, fairness, equity and justice should always be the priority of any just leader. Before his demise, he was widely admired by the students of the above mentioned University and its environs. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. I pray to Allah(swt) to forgive his shortcoming and all our departed loved ones.
