Late last night, the Senate voted to reauthorize the National Defense Authorization Act and approved $607 billion in military spending (84-15). Only twelve Republicans and a measly three Democrats opposed the bill. Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas), and potential 2016 hopefuls Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) ,Bassasso (R-WY), Coburn (R-OK), Corker (R-TN), Crapo (R-ID), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Enzi (R-WY), Flake (R-AZ), Lee (R-UT), Merkley (D-OR), Paul (R-KY), Risch (R-ID), Sanders (I-VT), Sessions (R-IL), Shelby (R-AL), Wyden (D-OR) voted “Nay”, Nelson (D-FL) did not vote and ALL THE REST VOTED YEA!!! Heinrich and Tom Udall voted YES ..Cruz also voted against overturning Citizens United, Udall also voted for the UN Small Arms agreement ...
