Lately it seems like I have been having the same discussion with so many people. They all ask the question, How can you be certain that God exists? I cite the fact that numerous experiences in my life have led me to believe that the only source of truth and goodness is God. Of course, there is always the skeptic that wants something more. They want physical, tangible proof. So what do you do when someone makes this argument against you? They say, Ive never seen God, so how do I know that hes real? The answer is quite simple, really. Just say, Look around you. Look at the beauty of a sunrise, or even a child, still waters, the breaking waves of the ocean, and tell me that something like that was made by chance. There is so much beauty in the universe that was NOT made by man, and there is no way that perfect beauty, harmony, and serenity could just occur by chance. God was behind it all.
