Latest on our Georgia friends car towing episode: The kids tried to get their car back and Amy, the owner at Eastside Towing, refused to allow them to have it until Monday. The tow company owner first said she was on vacation and theyre closed for the weekend and they will not do anything until Monday. Then, she said there was a discrepancy with the vin # and the tag. When I asked that they allow them to get the car over the weekend, pay their fine and move on, she said that the only person that can get the car is the owner (her mother whos in Northern GA) I contacted the sheriffs office and they ran the vin number and said it was all fine and something isnt adding up. After speaking with the deputies we called the tow company again. This time their/her firm excuse is that the car is in the mothers name and she needs to drive here (from Northern GA) to pick up the car on Moday! My disappointment is that I actually spoke to Amy, when she very reluctantly returned my call, she was ugly AND defensive, she had no intentions of giving these kids their car back over the weekend! She even went so far as to defend taking the car in the first place...nobody was disputing them taking the damn car! They parked in a Wellness Center Clubhouse in their friends neighborhood. They realize they were wrong and just want their car back! Its just shameful how this local company is treating our Georgia friends. Embarrassing!
