Laura Leigh NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT! She writes "Today our attorney, Gordon Cowan, had a status conference on the Owyhee Complex legal action with the Hon. Judge Miranda Du. That action began in January of this year after BLM filed a ten year plan to remove horses and during a roundup conduct was observed that included a #wildhorse flip over barbed wire. At the exact moment of the status conference Laura Leigh, Plaintiff in the case, was touring the Snowstorm HMA (of the Owyhee Complex) in preface to BLMs scheduled bait trap removal of 340 wild horses. The Original Complaint deals with inhumane conduct and BLMs failure to appropriately identify excess animals for removal. The amended complaint will include bait trapping.
