Learn something new about protein and to share: -carbo, protein and fat, vitamins and mineral must be present together to assist each other to yield best result. -kampung egg (not omega rich egg or low cholesterol egg) is a very good source of protein. Look at the kampung egg york, it should be a bit Orangish (not light yellowish!) in colour, means it is very high in Carotenoid, Vitamin A precusor. which it gives the york wonderful colour. -Eat egg yolk and white together. Major nutrient including enzymes are in the york, they help to activate the white part. -i think many of us is lack of protein, especially those are physically active or in sport and exercise. Here is the recommended Daily Protein intake: -Min: your weight (kgs) x 0.8=grams of protein you need -Normal /maintenance: 1-1.2grams per kg of your weight -Body builder: 2grams per kg of your weight -it must be accompanied with moderate exercise -Scared of Cholesterol? Blood cholesterol doesnt represent cholesterol that your derived from food. Our body need cholesterol, even if you avoid cholesterol food, Liver will make on its own using materials in our body. And it might be the reason that causes high LDL in your body. Liver will need to do only a bit of work to adjust the cholesterol that we eat and release it into the bloodstream, which is much more better than cholesterol that liver make on it own which require lots of efforts. -As long as you are physically active, engage in moderate exercise, expose to sun in moderation and eat enough Soluble Fiber, your body will take care of the extra fat and cholesterol that you eat. PLUS, LDL is not a bad guy, as long as it is not oxidise by free radical! Oxidation and Size of the cholesterol are important! Small HDL will easily get stuck in vessel too! So make sure you consume enough antioxidant food. 2 kampung eat a day is not a big issue. -Cholesterol, fat: whether it is saturated or unsaturated fat, as long as they are from Natural source, and consume in moderation, they are all good. Except Fake fat and Transfat! -Best way to cook protein is Wet cook or Moist Cook, avoid dry cook which will spoilt the protein and give rise to Carcinogen. -Half boilt kampung eat is good way to handle protein. -but if you were to take protein from seeds and nuts, make sure you soak at least 8hours, to deactivate the enzyme and wake up your seeds n nuts.
