Left us on this day (Jan. 27) in 2011: Danish-born Henrik Ostergaard (liver failure, age 47), best remembered as the lead singer-guitarist for 80s American hard rock band, Dirty Looks; formed in San Francisco by way of Pittsburgh in 1984, they released a handful of indie albums before Atlantic Records took notice & signed them; 1988 major label debut Cool From The Wire included Oh Ruby, whose video garnered enough MTV airplay to land it on the Billboard albums chart (#134); after the band broke up in 1993, Henrik formed Rumbledog; he took a break from the music business during the late-90s before reuniting with Dirty Looks in his later years…
