Legless man conquers the most dangerous mountain Known as the most dangerous #mountain road in #China, Jianmen Pass is a challenge for any person. Yet, Chen Zhou, a man who lost both his legs in an #accident, has successfully reached the top, after completing a journey of 2,080 meters on the steep and dangerous road. Known as a Chinese local #hero, Chen Zhou is only 78 centimeters in height. However, physical disability never stopped him from being a giant in his own mind. He started the journey on Sept. 26, and it took him more than four hours to finish. With the slopes reaching 96 degrees, and cliffs of more than 400-meters high, he finished the journey using his two hands. Having conquered the trail, Chen stood on the glass-viewing platform at the top of the pass and received cheers and applause from other travelers. This is not the first mountain he has conquered. He climbed several mountains before, including all the five famous mountains in China. Not just a hiker, he also inspires others as a local orator and singer.
