Let me ask a question: If you were to leave your current - TopicsExpress

Let me ask a question: If you were to leave your current business, work or career today, what is the legacy you would leave behind? How would others define it? More importantly are you even paying attention to it?? Exchange the word Legacy for Reputation or Character in this post and it may make a bit more sense for some. :-) For myself it means MUCH MORE!! For many leaders, leaving a legacy is associated with the end rather than the beginning or the next phase in life or business. Your leadership is not shaped and your legacy is not defined at the end of the road but rather by.... >>> the kind of moments shared, >>your decisions made, >>>>>>your actions taken, >>and even the mistakes you overcame. Lets say Leadership done RIGHTLY is a reinvention process ~ a continuing discovery of new skills and new aptitudes AND new ATTITUDES!! At each stage you are learning how to create sustainable impact and influence!! With each step you take, you identify new ways of mastering the fundamentals, thus providing you with greater clarity and depth to further improve your leadership approach and how to communicate more effectively !!!!! Let me ask you again...What Kind of legacy are you leaving behind? Are you paying attention to the feedback you are getting from others? The feedback you are receiving WILL help guide you to the next phase of your business and affect your ability to influence others... How will others speak about what you are leaving behind with each NEW phase?
