Let me start off by saying I do not condone the use of lethal force by police unless the officer feels his life is in imminent danger. That being said, we still do not know all of the facts surrounding the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson. What we DO know is what the race-baiter Al Sharpton and his ilk are trying to pass off as the truth. They are saying he was a gentle, loving child and keep showing pictures of a cute 10 year old boy. The truth of the matter is that he is well over 6 feet tall and over 200 pounds if the current pictures I have seen are any indication. They also fail to mention prior run ins with the law or the simple fact that he committed a robbery and assault at a local convenience store shortly before he was fatally shot. (for a box of Swisher Sweets) The 2 eye witnesses both say that he was holding his hands up and the police officer repeatedly shot him for no reason. While this is a possibility, it is most likely NOT what actually happened during the confrontation in the middle of the street. Just like in every similar situation in the past, let us wait and find out all of the facts before letting the media, the law enforcement leaders or the eye witnesses skew the little bit of info we have into something worse than the death of another American citizen (warranted or not).
