Let me start off by saying thank you to the Lucas County engineers road maintenance department. And all you hard working taxpayers out there that have employed me for the past 28 years. I am writing this out of frustration total amazement after 28 years of watching my employer and his designated supervision team run in the red. This winter has been tough on employers family friends. And I am whining crying and screaming as I watch the The text dollar being wasted at the Lucas County engineer road maintenance at an extreme level. Back in October we moved into a brand-new building if you the taxpayer could see what the inside of this place looks like you would be amazed. And not in a positive way. Granted the winter has been tough we plow and maintain roads and I can honestly say the guys that I work with have done an awesome job and my hat goes off to them this winter was tough on us all. But when you see the maintenance and the bills that have a have occurred in my opinion to poor management and poor maintenance schedules our mechanics can only do so much and when supervision does not check . Twice this winter Ive almost lost tires. Thats with pretrip inspection and checking my vehicle out. Team management and their lack of ability to check out their maintenance department before trucks leave. Even though I am part of the system I have always looked at it through the taxpayers I if you need to cut the fat starts at the top. Your job is not talking about sports and watching TV. Patriot nation rocks.
