Let me tell you something about my Dad, Charles. He is among the most selfless men I know. This is the guy that coached baseball and softball growing up for me and Crystal, and even presided over the band boosters for a while. He supported Chelsea through dance recitals as a child and dance team as she got older. He is one of those Dads that was always there no matter what we had going on. As weve moved out of the house he has taken up leadership roles in his community as a city councilman, in his church, and even in the Blytheville Fire Department Reunions. He works hard every day and then volunteers hard afterwards. He bowls and golfs and has fun with friends and family all the time. Then theres the way we treats Mom, Cathy. Talk about selfless. He is there for her in all her struggles and triumphs. He champions his wife in all that she does. She is the most important person in his world next to our Lord, Jesus Christ. My Dad is the shining example in my life of how to work hard and love harder. He was the best man at my wedding for a reason, and I wish him the happiest of birthdays. You deserve it!
