Lets be clear, asking someone Where are you from is not the proper way to ask someone what their ethnicity is. And no oh i didnt know or your age/generation is not an excuse. Its not about being politically correct its about common sense. I am from america and so is everyone in my family. I dont speak Spanish. Ive lived in Virginia my entire life. I can classify myself as white or hispanic but technically I am supposed to classify myself as white. I understand I look spanish and have curly hair, but you might look german/italian/african but that does not mean you speak those languages/are from those places. Its not a shame I dont speak Spanish. Im from Virginia.....where I live with my white american family that can trace their ancestory in America back to the mayflower. I am very proud of my hispanic heritage but simply stated Im american.... Im actually more American than most people who have something smart to say. Think before you speak.... unless its spanish cause I wont understand you anyways #endrant
