Letter written by mother of Jason Mahe, a man who was shot by Las Vegas Metro Police and now left to die in CCDC from his injuries. He has incurable Staph infection which has now spread to his bone marrow. It is only a matter of time before Jason is dead. He has a hearing with Judge Valerie Vacation Vega on 11-20-14. Please someone pay attention to this letter and help my son. My name is Barbara Sprouse and I am the mother of a very ill man age 29, who is an inmate at the clark county detention center 330 south casino center blvd las vegas nv 89101. His name is JASON MAHE 01902014 and due to circumstances and poor choices by all involved on how this entire nightmare started my son is very very ill. He was shot, alot, spent 18 plus weeks in umc hospital (even more off and on ) and back in there again. He has none cureable staphyocuccolus infection due to being shot but the worst part now is the infection is in his bone marrow. Now this letter I have not gotten into details like I have prior letters. I am asking, pleading and begging for the release of my son to come home to die. In March (03 04 2014) he weighed 250 lbs plus now Nov 2014 he is under 100lbs (he is 6ft 6 inches) . Due to the total disregard by the medical staff at the jail and the infection left untreated for many many months his time on this earth is very short. This is the last holiday season my son and his family will get to spend with him, and every minute he is still here I want to spend with him. He is my oldest child,my first born, and any parents that read this you know the special place first babies have in your heart. To know I will have to lay his body to rest sooner than later or at all its killing me inside. I do not understand why the legal system in Clark County Nevada is heartless and will not allow his family the few minutes hours days or weeks he has left to be spent with him. Jason is not an angel but my god he has done nothing to anyone to page 2 be treated like he is and has been treated. I mean he is not the son of sam he is not charles manson. He is my son, he is bubba to his younger siblings and he is the little kid to his older sister. He is uncle jason to his neices and nephews and he is dying. The time we have left with him for some reason the people in charge are being so mean and twisted by keeping him locked away. My god he is not a threat to anyone at this stage of his life, he is no longer the big guy strong and full of life, instead he is now this shell of a man who the wind could blow over. Securtity threat to who the leaves blowing around on the ground. This is so cruel and so mean to me his mother and only living parent, his brothers and sisters who love him and can not understand who would be so cold hearted and not let him out to at least be at home . Answer me a question please to the powers the be, if you knew that your loved one was dying wouldnt you want to be able to spend those last few moments with them to say i love you to say good bye? I am tired of telling his story over and over and getting nowhere I hope this letter this plea from my very soul will get help from someone somewhere before its too late. He isnt going anywhere he is in a wheelchair he cant even go to the restroom without help for gods sake. I am crying as I write this please let my son come home to me so I can have him for the little time he has left. barbara sprouse ps if anyone reads this please repost to your page in hopes someone will see this and help me please.
