Like plants, human beings are pray living in fixed geographic locations with assets targeted by predators, and we must be constantly vigilant and situation defensive to avoid getting attacked, injured, or destroyed. However, we may be going about in a less effective and efficient way than plants do. Plants don’t attend to what predators intend to do; they react solely to what predators actually do. Moreover, they do it at the individual plant level, proportionate to the detected and passed threat cues, using individual area defense systems. Second heretical hypothesis of the day: Distributed – individual person, family, and local area executed – eavesdropping to detect predator cues and turn on and deploy threat proportionate defenses before a predatory attack is initiated is more effective, efficient, and resource and individual freedom conserving than regional, national, and international eavesdropping, data mining, and spying.
