Like the author of this article said, there has been no diagnosis of a mental illness acknowledged by Amanda Bynes. However, this article is entirely true and speaks volumes. Anyone suffering needs compassion, proper attention and treatment, and the appropriate privacy. For anyone to make fun of her struggles, is just unacceptable. Whether famous or not, mentally ill people are still PEOPLE and it is important to treat them as such. If Amanda Bynes is struggling with a mentally illness, the lack of compassion and support from the public will do nothing but worsen her struggles and heighten the difficulty of her battle. Be conscious of the decisions you are making and the humor you are finding in not-so-humorous situations. Mental Illness is serious and is taking many lives. No one wants to see her die.
