Lisa Loki Hi, i have a 4yo male ABD and hes really suffering with his skin at the moment, hes been prescribed a short course of antibiotics but i was wondering if anybody else had similar problems? He is a very smelly boy and constantly scratting despite using frontline, and when he has a flare up he gets big open sores which become infected. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks x Like · · 8 hours ago Lets see if we can help. Lisa, the scratching can be food allergies so you want to check the food youre giving him. A lot of ABDs are allergic to chicken. Try to lower the amount of grains too. It can get expensive but the vet bills are higher. I give Bellan Natural Balance fish and sweet potato and she is getting better. 1000 mg of fish oil morning and night helps build a barrier in their skin that helps stop dermatitis.
