They celebrate The Feast of the Hunters Moon every fall. It is a reenactment that focuses on the life as it would have been when the Fort was a stronghold on the Wabash River. Colorful, enlightening, educating and a food aficionados mecca. Buffalo, Fo Fo Bridies, Ham and Beans and much much more. Would be a great place to visit on one of your holidays. Not to mention, we are less than a mile from it. I participated here for well over 30 years. I demonstrated how the fine art of confection would have been done. I made 500 lbs of sassafras candy, 5000 lollipops and hand dipped 500 lbs of apples in hard candy. All over an open fire. Eating food cooked out in the open over fire is probably the FUNNEST thing I have done. This is just one of the many marching military units that would have called Ouiatenon home.
