Listening to Nature...by Lady Lilyth Amicia M. In the living room, sitting at the table,I work and tap at the keys, music plays. Birds are tweeting and eating seed. I have two feeders outside the large living room windows. Its a beautiful morning with nature sounding around me and I hear chittering. Still typing and working the chittering continues. I look up. A beautiful red squirrel is sitting on the fence between my side yard and my neighbors yard. Hes just sitting there. Staring at me. Daring me to talk back to him. Drawing me in with his sweet face. That happened on Monday morning. Every morning since I see him beckoning me to do the same, to talk and to join in the fun outside. This afternoon, a rare visit from him...twice in one day. I sit up and listen. I look into his eyes and see the message hes sending. Im paying attention now. Does the wild call to you and appear to you to deliver messages? Do you recognize the brilliance in the eyes of the birds, squirrels and more in nature? Have you seen the same animal repeatedly and wondered what it is they are telling you?
