Local cancer survivors, who will be recipients of the funds raised from the the Bishop Flaget School Dig For a Cure Volleyball games held this past Wednesday, October 13, 2014, at Bishop Flaget School want to THANK all of the parents, teachers, students, and attendees who participated and made this such an exciting event. The week was filled with Pink Walks, bake sales, and a variety of breast cancer awareness activities to raise fund for Southern Ohio Survivors to funnel back to the community to help those who are either in need of financial assistance or recently diagnosed and will receive a bit of cheer in the form of a pumpkin stuffed with fun and useful care items. Special thanks to Linda Kerr and Laura Corcoran, who spearhead this annual event.
