Lodge Managers (Management Couple) Bazaruto Island, Mozambique This lodge has ten casitas, two cabanas, a family suite, private plunge pools and a lodge swimming pool. The Company are looking for a Management Couple to Manage this beautiful beach lodge. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Previous experience in management of 5 star lodge, Island or hotel operations • Lodge Operations Experience • Any relevant qualifications would be an advantage • Excellent spoken and written English (other languages an advantage) The Key Outputs are as follows: To Manage stock control To Managing Bar service and control The Management of all staff The Management of guest delight activities Overall hospitality and food management Responsible for the budget Staff Motivation & Skills Development of staff Updating and management of daily Operations including the operational day sheet for morning meetings Cover all daily and weekly requirements Alternate evening hosting with Asst. Lodge Manager SKILLS REQUIRED • Must have hospitality background • Management & leadership skills • The ability to motivate staff to deliver • Ability to think and act creatively with a team • Good knowledge of hospitality operations including butler service, housekeeping and laundry • Computer Skills • The ability to co-ordinate the day to day operations of the Island to provide superior service and quality to extremely high profile guests • Computer skills that encompass Microsoft office PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: • Energetic, proactive person with well-developed concept of the importance of providing a world-class guest experience and the ability to provide that experience • Open minded and able to think outside of the box • Good interpersonal skills • Attention to detail • Willingness/ability to share information and teach and inspire others To apply for this unique Management Couple position please send your cv’s to us with traceable references & photos to cv@kendrickrecruitment
