Looking back through all of the pictures from this weekend and there were sooo many happy moments and it was just an all around GREAT time. I am so happy for the newlyweds and thankful for the new friendships that were made, but I just HAVE to share this one more thing...THIS GUY just made me so happy and proud to be his wife. So we were all at the reception and there was a lot of the brides family there from the river villages and we only knew a handful of people. So he takes me by the hand and says, lets go introduce ourselves and say hello. We proceed to walk around the entire room greeting all of the Elders and guests, telling them who we are, who our parents and grandparents are, and where we come from. HOW COOL IS THAT?!?! Thats what we do when we go potlatches or into other villages, but I never would have thought to do that at the wedding. I am thankful to have a man that thinks like that.
