Looking forward to the next game against Sunderland I must say. Always a bit of a disappointment when international friendlies and qualifiers get the way for the premier league. Will be interesting to see who plays. Will Fazio and Stambouli start? Surely they will get a few minutes under their belt against the Black Cats. I would like to see a few things happen, I would like to see who will partner Jan at the back and who will play in midfield...? Kaboul looks to me like he will be sacrificed and Fazio to get the nod ahead of Vlad. I actually dont mind Vlad and think he would benefit with a regular defensive partner and a few games, so personally I would have Vlad ahead of Kaboul. In the midfield Pochettino prefers playing two defensive midfielders who are capable of playing a offensive passing game. I think Capoue has been solid for us so far. His passing stats are very good and everything has gone through him so I think Capoue will be first choice. I would be interested in seeing Stambouli, I havent seen much of him to be honest and obviously youtube will only have his highlights so jury is out with regards ability but would definitely give him a shout. I actually dont mind Bentaleb and his deep playmaker role, he can pick a pass. Dembele this year (most people would disagree) has been a disappointment, his confidence is down for not being picked and when he has got on, looks far too casual/lazy for me. He should be chomping at the bit and raring to go a grab the game and be able to impose himself. Paulinho doesnt look like he isnt in too hot form, maybe needs longer to adapt to tactics. Sad to see Holtby and Sandro go but I think that we had to lose some players and maybe should have lost other players but I wont go into transfers etc. Up front, Im sorry but I think we have to give Soldado a go. With Lamela and Eriksen playing well, Soldado will (for me) make better runs in and around the box and has to have a chance to prove. With the African Cup at Christmas (I know its early but have to keep it in mind), Ade will probably head off and we will have two strikers who only have played minimal minutes. Pochettino has a great squad and even selecting players on the bench will be hard.
