Matthew 6:33 KJV [33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ~Whats on your schedule today?~ Is your job never done? Especially if you work and have a family at home, theres always somebody that needs something....right? A typical day for me may go something like this....leave home by 7:00, drop off kids at school, head to work (drive an hour), work 8 hours, drive an hour back home. By the time Im home, everybodys starving! Mama, what are we eating?? Last night, it was hotdogs:) Thats nobodys favorite, but it served the purpose. Ha! Cain is the dish man at the Heard house. At our house, its necessary to wash at least 2 loads of laundry every day (Anslees job). Otherwise, somebody is searching for something hysterically in the mornings only to discover Its dirty. Theres homework to be done. Theres horses and dogs to be fed and watered. By the time everybody is done with everything, its time for bed...and by this time, exhaustion has set in. Yall...theres a lot of things in our lives that are important. But whats most important? Where do our priorities lie? Where does Christ rank on your importance list? Is He in a column that says If I have time? If so...you may want to do some rearranging. Laundry can wait. Floors can be swept later. Most of you have DVR now. Record your favorite show and watch it later. Set your alarm 30 min early. What if you knew that Jesus was coming back today? Would your schedule look any different? If the enemy cant persuade you to do bad things, he will keep you so busy with good things that you miss out on the BEST thing. Thats right! He is clever. If youre too busy to give Jesus 30 min of your 24 hour day, youre entirely too busy. Are you represented by Martha or Mary? God bless and happy Friday!!
