MARKETING MANAGER SALARY - R35 000.00 per month plus benefits Must be ELECTRICAL qualified and must have good experience handling MARKETING and TENDER Duties & Responsibilities 1. Development and delivery of divisional budget and accountable for meeting targets. 2. Accountable for growing the Standby business. 3. Provide leadership to a team of professionals based in Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KZN. 4. Development of new market and customers. 5. Development and implementation of new systems and processes to improve efficiency. 6. Perform product presentations to customers. 7. Lead the team in tender management and preparation. 8. Maintain relationships with key clients. 9. Act as a lead negotiator during contract negotiations Computer and Technical/Mechanical ability Knowledge – Minimum computer literacy and technical knowledge needed to perform the job successfully MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint MS Project PRIMAVERA Education & Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering from an accredited tertiary institution. Management qualification will be advantageous. 2. Previous management experience at a similar role is a must. 3. Experience in tender preparation and management. 4. Willingness to travel and work long hours 5. Good analytic, interpersonal and presentation skills. 6. Ability to perform well under pressure. Language Skills Ability to read, analyse and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribes style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
