MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION GRENADIAN ‘COOK-UP’ FUNDRAISER Saturday 14 September 2013 I must thank all of you who braved the weather and made the sacrifice to come out on Saturday, 14 September 2013 in support of the Olympic Welcoming Committee Grenadian ‘Cook-up’ Fundraiser, held in Islington at the home of John and Deborah Bryant. Whether participating in person or from over long distances I convey my sincerest gratitude for your continued contributions. It was an immense effort on the part of our hosts, the Bryants, who are also Members of the Olympic Welcoming Committee: the food was scrumptious, the decorations exquisite, the company warm and inviting, and the community spirit unwavering. To John and Deborah, their family and friends please accept my thanks and appreciation. Special thanks also to Ann Husbands, the Caterer, for her preparation of such delightful food. The Olympic Welcoming Committee ought to be proud of this representation and of its extensive efforts thus far! Rest assured that your commitment and hard work will continue to advance Grenada’s Olympic Legacy as we work together to achieve youth excellence in Sports. Ahead of the 2016 Rio Olympics, let us stand firmly together, committed, strong, and confident towards keeping Grenada’s Olympic Legacy alive by encouraging our young people to continue to excel in all positive areas.
