MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE GAMBIA ARMED FORCES. Tomorrow July 22nd 2014 marks 20 years since Yahya Jammeh and his men took The Gambia hostage. Since then many of our citizens have been tortured, killed, detained without trial, raped and many ran out of the country into exile in fear for their safety. If you join the military to put your life on the line to protect the citizens of The Gambia against all enemies, foreign and domestic then now is the time to stand up and defend your countrymen against a self interest dictator or so called president. Most of you in the service get paid D2500 ( dalasis) some only D1500 and thats if you are really lucky to get paid that month. I know your parents are proud of you, they worked hard in the farms and sometimes sell their life stocks to put you in school to make sure you grow up to be someone they can be proud of. Now you have a job protecting our country only to be paid D2500 while a musician from Senegal can make a song about Jammeh and get hundreds of thousands of dalasis from your commended in chief and take it back to his or her country when you and your family cant even have enough money for groceries. He took over the meet business, bakery, sand, rice and much more without paying any taxes and will arrest and jail any businessman or woman that couldnt afford to pay taxes. He talks about how evel the US and UK is and yet his wife and kids are living in the US. Is this the change he promised us 20 years ago? I say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH stand up and take back the country you risk your life for everyday and stear it to the right direction before this unfit captain sink it. We are doing our part in the US and Europe so dont let us take all the glory for restoring democracy back to our country, so stand the F*** up soldiers and make us and your parents proud once again,(hooah) May God bless you and may God bless the republic of The Gambia.
