March-23-2014 Time-10.00 P.M AAP News & Update---- Great Martyrs of India :--Legendry Late Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev-- A Very Big Salute to our Fearless & Great Heroes of India`s independence struggle - on their 83rd Death anniversary------ Today was the 83rd Death Anniversary of our Fearless & Great Heroes of India`s independence struggle . A rich tribute & Mark of Respect was showered/given to the late Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev - on their 83rd death anniversary across the Nation & in various parts of the Globe. Martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged on March 23, 1931. The thing to remember about Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev was that along with the passion, they had an extremely evolved sense of political thought , as they were our great fearless Heroes. We have to learn selflessness towards our nation from them. Shaheed Bhagat Singh was just 23 years of age, when he was martyred/hanged. Shaheed Bhagat Singh fasted for 116 days in jail , to give Indian prisoners same rights as British. Their Popular Revolutionary Slogan was “ Inquilab Zindabad “ , which will remain significant till the whole Creation Vanishes. Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh was born on Sep 28, 1907 & hanged on March 23, 1931. India’s freedom was the ultimate objective of the sacrifice given by Bhagat Singh, as he was an Indian socialist considered to be one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement. Seeking revenge for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai at the hands of the Britishers , Bhagat Singh was involved in the murder of British police officer John Saunders. He eluded efforts by the police to capture him. Soon after, together with Batukeshwar Dutt, he undertook a successful effort to throw two bombs and leaflets inside the Central Legislative Assembly in London , while shouting the slogan of revolution. His legacy prompted youth in India to begin fighting for Indian independence and he continues to be a youth idol in modern India, as well as the inspiration for several films. The martyrs have been portrayed on the big screen several times to keep Indians Awared of the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh . Some of the noted films include Shaheed-E-Azam (2002), Shaheed (2002), The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002) and Rang De Basanti (2006). Today , In Lahore , A number of civil society activists paid rich tribute to freedom fighter Bhagat Singh , for his unprecedented efforts to free the people of the Subcontinent from the suppression of the British Rule at his 83rd death anniversary. The activists placed Bhagat Singh’s photo at the Shadman Chowk and lit candles around it on Sunday. They reiterated their demand from the government to name the Shadman Chowk as Bhagat Singh Chowk, the place ,where Singh was hanged on March 23, 1931, by the then rulers as a punishment for initiating a movement against them. Speaking at the gathering, Bhagat Singh Foundation’s Abdullah Malik said that , the sacrifice of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh should be remembered and recognise ,without any religious discrimination. “Bhagat Singh is our hero and we will continue to pay him tribute despite the opposition of the religious fundamentalists.” Emergency Alert---Let all of us take an Oath today , that we will not allow any candidate of Any Political Party with Criminal & Corrupt Record , to enter the Indian Parliament , during Lok Sabha Elections-2014 , by voting against him/her.
