Margaret Atwood might have just discovered the secret to living - TopicsExpress

Margaret Atwood might have just discovered the secret to living forever. Simply write a new story that wont actually be published for a century as part of the Future Library project. Heres how it works: Plant 1,000 trees. Every year for 100 years have an author contribute a work to the project. At the end of the century, cut down the trees and use the resulting paper to print the 100-book collection. As someone who has trouble remembering to make his lunch for more than 3 days in a row I am in awe of the scope/diligence of this project. Also, I need to figure out how to live for another 100 years so I can see this come to fruition.~TH (Interesting bit of trivia: Atwood was the first recipient of the Arthur C. Clarke Award, in 1987, for THE HANDMAIDS TALE) flavorwire/newswire/margaret-atwoods-newest-project-wont-be-seen-for-100-years
