Matt Anderson’s Statement via Zenit-Kazan: “First of all, I want to say that I have no any conflict with teammates, the coach or members of the club. Here in Kazan, everything was at the highest level. I decided to take a break from my career because I’m tired of volleyball. Since I started playing professionally, I never had nor have enough time to be with my family. It’s very stressful. My depression reached its critical level before the start of the season. I thought I could overcome depression but I couldn’t. I think the break will help me regain the passion and love i have for volleyball. I’m grateful for all the fans of Kazan and the support they have given me.
