May 26th, 1981............Randy Rhoads and the Ozzy Osbourne band arrive in Omaha, Nebraska to spend a couple days off at the local resort in town called Best Western Hotel. After the band and crew went their separate ways it was said that Randy went straight for his hotel room with his guitar and wasnt heard from again until the next morning! The show was scheduled to be played 2 nights later at the Omaha Music Hall. By mid afternoon on the 26th only half the tickets had been sold.
