Maybe I should have named all my dogs Buddy. Sunny is leashed until we get beyond the houses where there may be pet or feral cats. My dogs love to go for walks as much as the next dog, but its worth not rushing out of the gate for a little treat. Theyll still get their walk. I also pay them for waiting after they do go out. Keep reinforcing behaviors you want to see and gosh darn it youll get them.
