Me being a smartass, I headed straight to the B gate lounge at T5 assuming all long haul flights go from the satellite terminals (Ive never departed from A gates on a long haul). The lovely lady at the British Airways lounge tells me Im departing from A10 today (doh!) then sends me through the underground labyrinth at LHR to avoid going through security again. Really thoughtful! Being an ex-airport worker, it was such a thrill to go through an under construction, staff-only part of the airport. Fun morning ahead of a hopefully uneventful flight to Dubai.
