Medical Update (1/14/14 12:40am) Leslie made it out of surgery and is now on the ECMO that bypasses both her lungs and heart. She is currently stable. There are still a lot of risks, but they havent changed much from when she was put on the first ECMO machine. She is on blood thinners which brings the risk of a brain bleed. Thats our biggest fear. She is in extremely critical condition. The surgeon said he has nothing left to do. This HAS to work. This WILL work. Mom and I will be at the hospital tonight to give Leslies parents and Chris a break. We will pray anytime we wake up during the night.
