Meelan Karki is our Medical Clinic Administrator at Kopila Valley. She also oversees the work being done in our counseling center. Her post really touched my heart. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Within these few months i realized different facets of life. I realized how a few words of motivation can change somebody’s life, I realized how a bit of warmth can add a new flavor in somebodys life, I realized how a pinch of care, concern and love can help somebody fight against the challenges of life, I realized how an inch of smile that you dedicate to somebody can add excitement in their life, I realized how a few minutes that you spend with somebody can make them feel that they are special than anybody else in the entire world. Just in 6 months I have seen kids being close, closer and closest to me and how my very little effort is changing their view towards life. I wish I had captured all the moments in my camera which i realized is my huge mistake but I really feel overwhelmed when I look back the day when I first entered into your world. Thank you Maggie Doyne for letting me look after your kids and trusting me so much. Today I can’t live a single day without thinking of them. It’s all because of you that I could experience this reality of life. You’re my Mentor, and I can’t thank you enough for everything that I have learnt within this short period of time.
