It was a few days before Christmas I went to woollies with my youngest son to buy a few more things I needed to make for the Christmas trimmings like cream, gravy, fresh veggies etc... Then when I go to pay the cost was $24.65 so i went to pay with my key card as I had no cash on me, but it read declined (insufficient funds)? I was sure I left enough money to do this last bit of food shopping for my Christmas meals I asked the the lady if I could try it again as this is how certain I had the money in there but it still said declined? I was very embarrassed and asked if she could take a few items off so maybe then I could afford to pay? But then this man behind me in his late 30s early 40s stepped in and told the cashier girl no dont its ok I will pay... I was so embarrassed and said no its ok but he put up a fight and insisted he pay for me and used the excuse he got a Xmas bonus and paid and said have a safe and merry Christmas I tried to get his address or a place to meet so I could repay him and he wouldnt hear of it! This is something I will never forget and it sure changed my view on how any stranger can reach out and just give a little kindness but leave such a big impact sure has changed my mind on faith and humanity and I too help where and when I can
