Megan Buckingham is free from all tubes.... The lg pillow bandage down her spine has been removed, the only thing there are the steri strips that are holding incision together( no stitches or staples). The Doc says this is the prep work to go home In 1-2 days! Today will be difficult as she needs to get to a chair and use the potty to go pee.... We believe with all these things removed its going to make the sitting and walking that much easier! She was having hallucinations again this morning so they stopped the MS Contin which is 12 hr morpine and will continue with 10 mg oxy every 3 hrs and restarted neurontin. I just need her out of here as I will be able to care for her and be spot on for her pain management!
