Message to all cooks and helpers at the fund raising meal this coming Saturday. Meanhaa Begum, Allyson Bekkar, Rossy Syaukat, Brucezay Osen, Raz Ab, Aseel Hussam, Manal Said, Rashmi Khwaja, Siobhan Aldris, Azah Alsree, Benita Maria Çetinkaya, Isabel Farrelly Jan Roger, Angela Fraise, Paula Elliott, Khateejah Mahamed Dawn Jackson, Maryam Alharthi and anyone else who would like to help. Zay and Rossy I believe you are helping Azah to prepare the chicken and rice. Jan you are making veggie curry for about 30 people (50 if you can manage it). Benita salad for 120 - please also buy olive oil and lemons/juice for the dressing. Siobhan you are down for humous for 120. I will be making bread Saturday morning - if anyone would like to join me making about 20 loaves please let me know as soon as possible. Everyone else I will be posting the exact time that we can access the event later this week but I think it is likely to be about 5pm. All donations of sweets/cakes etc either need to be delivered to the event before 6pm or you can deliver to the one of the helpers. Need a volunteer for mint tea making and someone to purchase olives please. If you are helping on the night we will allocate jobs when everyone has arrived. If you intent to claim for any of the ingredients please make sure you bring receipts on the night in an envelope with you names and address clearly written on the front.
