Met the Home Minster, Mr. Shinde today. We have asked him to ensure that action is taken against the Delhi police officers who have been found negligent in their duties. This is to ensure that the police understand their responsibility towards the citizens of Delhi and do not allow negligence to creep in. We will protest along with citizens of Delhi outside his office starting Monday if action against the errant cops is not taken. We have also demanded that the Delhi Police be moved under the direct control of the Delhi Govt. Instead of hiding behind excuses, we are taking affirmative action to ensure safety & security of the people of Delhi. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that.
