Its a gathering of local Irish-music singers, instrumentalists, and dancers, all sharing the stage with nationally known headliners. If youd like to get an idea of the depth of southeastern Michigans Celtic music scene, the Ceili is a great place to do it. This years concert features the Gavin, MacLeod and Rankin families (the Rankins are relatives of the family group that dominated Canadian folk-country music in the 1990s), with guest vocalist Eileen Plunkett and dancers from the Heinzman and OHare schools of Irish Dance.
