Mika Savela asked, in a post from 2012: I stumbled upon this tool called Maps Creator by Nokia. At first I thought it was probably some cool app to print good looking maps for your next weekend city break. But it wasn’t. The service apparently launched back in November 2011, as what the company described as a “fun tool that lets you map your local neighborhood”. Now, what was a little atypical was that the service was first made available in “Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tanzania, Angola, Burundi, Sri Lanka, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Antigua and Barbuda, and Grenada”. Today, it seems, Maps Creator is available in the countries shown in the picture below.
