Minxies recovering bug combined with increased spasticity today and over arching led to her aspirating on stuff she was trying to cough up leading to a decrease in oxygen saturation to approx 60 judging my lip color. Decreased air entry in the upper left lobe. An unusual place for an aspiration but shes had weirder. Now lathargic with over arching but relaxing. O2 sats normal. Afibrial. Now, for those that dont live or who in an ICU lol. Minxie threw up but didnt get it out of her mouth instead it went in her lungs. She threw up from the bug that shes getting over combined with her cp causing her to be extra tight with head extra far back today. That caused her blood oxygen level to dip pretty low even for her and now shes resting on the bed. Tired looking but not as tight as she was before. Oxygen is fine again and she doesnt have a fever. Some of the stuff went into her left lung and its no trouble to hear it there!!
