Miss Universe 2014 Final Prediction This will be my final top picks for Miss Universe 2014. After watching the Preliminary Competition I had finally arrive with my top16. I have to be fair and I have to judge them based on how they perform during the prelims, therefore having watched the Miss Universe in the recent years, I have a feeling that some of the girls will be robbed, you know how the Trump Card works. So I based this final prediction on their preliminary performance, their popularity, their impact for the last three weeks in Doral, those dirty little secrets and that Miss Universe Factor. Bubbling Up and Darkhorse 23rd: Ukraine 22nd: Brazil 21st: Thailand 20th: Lithuania 19th: Serbia 18th: Indonesia 17th: Puerto Rico 16th: Guyana I have a very strong feeling that two of these ladies will be part of the official 15. Im really disappointed with Brazil and Puerto Ricos Performance though Im keeping an eye on Gabrielas fate. Elvira and Pimbongkod really did great but there is so many girls but so little space left, atleast one of them will make it. FABULOUS 15 15th: Dominican Republic Kimberrly Castillo 14th: Mexico Josselyn Garciglia 13th: Australia Tegan Martin 12th: India Noyonita Lodh 11th: France Camille Cerf Im surprised with France. India performed well though Im not a fan of her swimsuit performance. Australia did not performed from what I expected but Im still putting her on my list because she is from Australia. Mexicos saving grace is her gown. She could have been better. Dominican Republic did an OK job and coming from a country were Yamamay and Dominican Airlines that are part of the sponsors, Kimberrly has to wait for her country to be called. TOUGH 10 10th: Russia Yulia Alipova From 4th runner up to Top 10, actually I really like Yulias performance and that red gown, my goodness! The reason is a lot of girls performed better than her. 9th: South Africa Ziphozhake Zokufa I previously rank her at my 16th now Im putting her on my top 9. She has been stellar and superb. Her evening gown performance is exquisite. She is the best black delegate. 8th: Spain Desire Cordero Im not feeling the hype of this Dayana Mendoza deadringer however Im really mesmerized by her evening gown performance. She should be more feisty in her swimsuit in order to make the next cut. 7th: Costa Rica Karina Ramos I think she is one of the best during that night. Karina performed really well and she deserve some spotlight! Her evening gown performance wad the best With that weak sash Im still hoping that she will make the top 15. Interesting to note that Costa Rica rarely place back to back. 6th: Argentina Valentina Ferrer Wow! Valentina is probably one of the best. Its hard not to notice this fine tall lady. I hope she does make it to the finals night. FIERCE FIVE 4th Runner-Up: Venezuela Migbelis Castellanos She should be thankful that Miami has predominantly occupied by Latinos. With that loud cheer, it really gives Migbelis a boost of confidence. Her swimsuit performance was superb however her evening gown presentation is another story. Her gown is a bit tacky for her though she tries to hide it with her parasela walk. 3rd Runner-Up: Jamaica Kaci Fennell I always thought that this girl exudes a lot of elegance. Her walk is also phenomenal. She did it like she is a pro. Her evening gown is simply the best. 2nd Runner-Up: USA Nia Sanchez In all fairness to Nia, she did a great job. She is fierce, beautiful and elegant. One of the best evening gown performance. She deserve this placement. 1st Runner-Up: Colombia Paulina Vega Everyone noticed her subdue and underwhelming performance. It seems like she does know that she is the next Miss Universe that she does not need to perform better. I have read a couple of articles and they feel the same about Colombia. Miss Universe should be someone who can be approachable and humble not only beautiful and smart. She should be confident but not arrogant and I dont think Paulina is the right girl. Miss Universe 2014/15 Philippines Mary Jean Lastimosa Love her or hate her but you should know that this girl is in it to win it. She is the living testimony of the tagline of Miss Universe; CONFIDENTLY BEAUTIFUL. She knows how to perfect imperfections. She is the best. From swimsuit to evening gown and even her introduction. Mary Jean will be the brightest star in the Universe! :)
