Mission Possible They say to be a good instructor your students should be better than you once you give them all you have and the tools to further learn more. Its been just over a year now since I started working with a student teaching computer science, more specifically advanced computer architecture. Along with psychology studies he is now working on what would be typically his 2nd year of computer science and is literally rocking it. On top of that he has been studying programming and has built a fairly complex website. (seperate from my work with him). If he keeps going the way he is he will soon surpass my knowledge and as he grows it will be my turn to ask questions ;) Ive learned that regular teaching helps me to learn too. Im continually being challenged by things I havent visited in a while and learning new stuff along the way. If this is they way it is to be - Mission accomplished :) Dan.
