Mmmmmm Thank you to my amazing husband Toby for a first-rate birthday dinner :) He assembled field greens topped with grilled steak medallions, pan-seared sea scallops, freshly steamed shrimp and a crab leg, pommegranite, and fresh mozzerella all dressed with just a touch of 18-year balsamic, with a side of freshly baked bread. Just what the birthday girl asked for! Given that my day consisted of teaching my first chem class, getting flu shots for myself and the boys, grocery shopping, and running errands, I was ready to be appreciative of that amazing meal! Oh, and in addition to a few other nice things, he also got me a Hillandale Farm School bumper sticker for the car, proclaiming we had the right to be just as proud of our school as other folks in the area are of their schools! That was a boost :).
